Music programme helps with memory

Is  Structured activity  for children a good thing?

Could this be a breakthrough for those with poor concentration?

Hippocampal Activity During Music Listening Exposes The Memory-Boosting Power of Music

For the first time the hippocampus – a brain structure crucial for creating long-lasting memories – has been observed to be active in response to recurring musical phrases while listening to music. Thus, the hippocampal involvement in long-term memory may be less specific than previously thought.

Exams and Hay Fever

It’s that time of year again-pollen count is high, exam revision looming and the dreaded sneezing has begun, leaving you listless and unable to concentrate.

Research into hay fever shows that ability to  function  in exams can  diminish, affecting results, so LTs has put together some natural remedies  that can help with the symptoms.

A qualified practitioner of kinesiology and homeopathy on our team suggests a herb called Luffa by Vogel. they also do a nasal spray. We have all used it and found it to be effective.

You can also order from us  superb  products such as R84 and  R93 and histamine nasal spray ,plus cineraria for streaming eyes.  They are known to be most effective  and we recommend them. They  will not have any  side effects such as drowsiness  that allopathic medicines over the counter sometimes do.

These are only available through a practitioner such as LTS.The price ranges from £5-9.00 per product. Please enquire at info@ltslearning.co.uk.

Irlen Visual Dyslexia Screening now available for new University Students

Are you struggling to read print? You may be suffering from  a visual  form of Dyslexia or Scotopic Sensitivity called Irlen Syndrome  which often affects those working with computers and fluorescent lights. We are now screening new university and college entrants for overlays and coloured lenses to help them with their studies.
The screening takes about one hour and will efficiently identify any reading issues, writing and spelling issues are also identifed. A nine page report will follow to show the findings and recommendations.

Lens testing can also be done following an Irlen Screen. Coloured overlays are available via our website. Please allow two weeks for delivery as not all colours are  stocked.

Irlen syndrome and Autism

Symptons of visual Dyslexia are often present in other learning disabilities such as Autism and Dyspraxia.

Difficulties with handwriting and  fine motor control (ability to see depth, understand where everything is in relation to the person, feel the space around them (proprioception) can be improved through testing for Irlen Syndrome which is a visual perception difficulty .Improvements are immediate as coloured lenses help to change the depth  frequency and timing mechanism for the brain to ‘read’ the information accurately. This allows the candidate to make  spatial judgments and calms down the entire nervous system for better control.

Added to this is the amazing programme that we have recently acquired called

The Listening Programme by Advanced Brain Technologies.

We are offering this programme at a greatly reduced price for the next 6 months
